We know being away from home can be traumatic, so we’ve gone to extraordinary lengths to make a stay at McKee’s Pet Place as comfortable as possible for both you and your pet.

We have been in the boarding business since 1989 and we are always looking for ways to make a stay away from home as easy as possible. We treat each guest as part of our family, and we hope to be your pet’s home away from home! With Dr. McKee’s 35 years of veterinary experience guiding the way, we have developed the cleanest and most comfortable facility possible, always keeping your pet’s ultimate comfort and pampering in mind!

Dog Suites
All dog boarding suites include full-length stainless steel and glass doors; handmade, custom wrought iron beds; luxury bedding and décor; flat-screen televisions and DVD movies for your dog’s enjoyment; wall-mounted stainless steel water bowls; and each suite is decorated with a destination theme for the ultimate resort experience for your dog! All suites include 2 walks outside each day in one of our play yards, both morning and evening. The suites are cleaned and sanitized twice daily with a hospital grade disinfectant using our state-of-the-art pressure washer and gutter flushing system that takes waste directly out of the facility. The suites are cleaned and dried while the suite guests are outside, so your pet never gets wet, and the boarding area stays clean, sanitized, and odor-free throughout his or her stay. With 3 sizes to choose from, you can choose a Grand Suite, Deluxe Suite, or Luxury Suite for your dog(s).

Dog Runs
All dog runs include clean and comfortable Pet Cot™ beds, wall-mounted stainless steel water bowls, and feature individual indoor play and potty areas partitioned by a doggie door, simulating inside and outside. The runs are cleaned and sanitized twice daily with a hospital grade disinfectant using our state-of-the-art pressure washer and gutter flushing system that takes waste directly out of the facility. The smart design of the runs allows us to close the doggie door to clean and dry each side individually, so your dog never gets wet, and the boarding area stays clean, sanitized, and odor-free throughout your pet’s stay. With 2 sizes to choose from, you can choose either a Standard (14 feet long) or Atrium View (22 feet long) Run, which face our beautiful Atrium with vaulted ceiling, skylights, and lots of potted trees to bring light and outdoor life into our beautiful indoor boarding environment.

Cat Suites & Cottages
All cat suites include a window view and huge play area with a scratching/climbing tree, climbing and lounging shelves, play tunnel, litter boxes cleaned twice daily, and a comfortable bed for your cat to curl up in. Boarding Info

All boarding options are entirely indoors to ensure complete climate control. Our state-of-the-art heated flooring system cannot be penetrated by urine, other fluids, or waste, providing a shield of defense against odors, and the spread of germs or disease. Our state-of-the-art pressure washer system uses a hospital grade disinfectant to clean and sanitize all runs and suites twice daily, and our gutter flushing system takes waste directly out of the facility. Our facility provides entirely clean air intake, with ventilation, air conditioning and filtration via separate zones for each area within the facility. Our separate dog and cat feeding rooms provide sanitary meal preparation in restaurant-grade surroundings. Our staff provides clean, fresh drinking water to all of our boarding guests continuously throughout each day and evening. We also have a commercial-grade laundry system that provides all resort guests with fresh, sanitary towels and linens. All rugs, beds, and pillows in our suites are washed after each guest’s stay, as well as during a guest’s stay when needed.

All resort guests are thoroughly screened for proof of current vaccination records and must provide a copy of vaccination documents from a veterinarian. We have a strict policy in place for every pet’s protection; proof of current vaccinations is always required.

Our staff is well trained and attentive to your pets and their surroundings, and we all share a genuine love for animals. Our goal is to treat your dog or cat as a member of our own family, and to give them the ultimate resort experience here at McKee’s Pet Place. We want to be your pet’s home away from home!
